I was BEYOND excited when Stampin' Up! released this amazing kit on Thursday!
This kit includes EVERYTHING you see!  Stamps, clear block, 2 ink spots, envelopes, cardstock, embellishments, die cuts, dimensionals and super cute accessories!  The only thing you would need is snail adhesive and a pair of scissors.  Which most of us have already.
A full color instructional brochure is included to help you created 20, yes 20 cards!
When is the last time you went to a card store and were able to purchase 20 cards for $29.95?!
And we aren't just talking any cards, we are talking about HANDMADE cards!
Your love will go into every card you make using this awesome kit and the person who receives that hand stamped card will undoubtedly cherish it because you made it special for them.
Click on the picture above to go to the link on my website for more information.  If you click on "more images" under the main image you can actually see each of the 20 card designs!
Stampin' Up! did an amazing job with this beautiful kit!

Thanksgiving Framed Art

Sometimes its hard for me to understand why not EVERYONE loves paper as much as I do, but I do understand there are "card makers", "scrapbookers", ect.  Even for those who don't enjoy card making or scrapbooking would appreciate a nicely framed seasonal piece for their home.
This beautiful piece is made using some of the new products in the Holiday Catalog as well as things found in the annual catalog as well.  These framed art pieces can be so much fun to put together.  There are so many different possibilities, they truly are endless.  My absolute favorite thing about Framed Art is that you can showcase some of your favorite products in one place that is always out to be viewed and appreciated.  Although these are simple to create, they are so much fun to study and appreciate their true beauty in all of their glory of fabulous Stampin' Up! Products.

Halloween is coming!

Super Cute Treat Box

I just made my "Spooky" Halloween banner for my Super Saturday Class
coming up and had LOTS of goodies left over to use on other projects from
my Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit (#132698).  So the first thing I thought of was a candy box full of goodies!
This is one of our Kraft Boxes (#124106) from the annual catalog.
I put Witches Brew Designer Washi Tape (#132156) around the entire box and then took my Pumpkin Pie Seam Binding Ribbon that was left over from my kit and tied it around the box.
The glittery spider die cut is also from that kit, as well as the Basic Black 1/8" Taffetta Ribbon and Black Vintage Button on top.  I took a few threads of my Burlap Ribbon (#132140) and tied a knot through the button.  I added one of our Rhinestones to the head of the spider and viola!
This would be a super fun project to do with kids and let them put their own spin on it!

I love fall!

Best of 25 Years Series

Autumn

Fall is by far my favorite season.  Cooler weather, falling leaves, sweatshirts and pumpkins.
I know for me, it helps me reflect on all the beauty around me and to remember all of the things in my life that I am truly greatful for.
This card is super simple to create.  I used the Best of Autumn Stamp Set (#134390) released September 1st for our monthly set as part of the Best of 25 Year Series.
If you haven't seen all of the images in this set, check them out!  On the right hand side there is a picture that says "Best of 25 Years" click that link to view all of the stamps in this collection, as well as the previous months sets.
I stamped the image of the leaf repeatedly in Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake and Pool Party ink.  The "Give Thanks" sentiment is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar.
I added some of our fabulous Burlap Ribbon (#132140) from the Holiday Catalog and a Naturals Designer Button (#127554) for the finishing touch.
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do and are inspired to create one of your own!

Monochromatic and Beautiful

Monochromatic Wisteria Wonder

One of my favorite types of cards to make are those that are "monochromatic" meaning only one color in addition to white.  Wisteria Wonder is one of my favorite colors because of it's sweet purple, yet calming appearance.  As a matter of fact, my Craft Room is painted in a color similar to Wisteria Wonder! The layer between the card base and Whisper White piece is embossed with the Mosaic embossing folder.  The adorable flower is from the Flower Shop stamp set with coordinating punch.  I also punched the smallest flower from the Boho Blossoms punch in Wisteria Wonder and added a Rhinestone for added character.  The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Bring on the Cake and the stamp at the bottom comes from Mosaic Madness.
Simple, yet beautiful.

Fall Cards Class

Add these two cuties to the Fall Cards Class!

I love all things "teeny, tiny and cute", these cards are no exception!
These cards are 3X3 and have their own cute little envelopes!
They would be perfect for a gift tag or to just give to someone to
appreciates "teeny, tiny and cute" things!
The card on the left features a stamp from the Best of Autumn set.
I live in the heart of Apple Country, so this stamp is especially special to me!
If you don't know about the "Best of" Series Stamps, they are a series of stamps
that Stampin' Up announces once a month at the first of the month.
This year marks the 25th Anniversary for Stampin' Up! and to celebrate
that amazing accomplishment they decided each month they would release
a set that included several stamps featured from years past and a new, never before seen image!
You can see all the sets released since January by clicking on the "Best of 25 Years Series"
flyer image to the right.
I created the painted appearance of the apples and bucket using Real Red, Crumb Cake ink and a blender pen.  I will share this technique at my upcoming class so that you can create it too!
The super cute and simple Halloween card to the left is done with our new Witches Brew Washi Tape
found in the Holiday catalog.  I LOVE washi tape!  Talk about a super easy way to make a cute card, quick and simple!  The Halloween sentiment comes from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.
I stamped the image on whisper white and then punched it out with the large oval punch, then punched a piece of Basic Black with the scallop oval punch to create a layered effect.
These cute little cards are a cute addition to the other
Fall Cards created for the September Super Saturday Class.
I hope you can join us!

Best of Butterflies on Foil Sheets

Have you seen the new Foil Sheets???

If you haven't pull out your Holiday Catalog and flip to page 28!
You can get them in silver (#132178) or gold (132622)
For this card I used the silver foil sheets.
It's no secret I LOVE anything to do with butterflies, so whenever I have a chance to use a stamp set featuring butterflies I do!  This set is one of my favorites, its from the Best of 25 Years Series and is all about butterflies (#133345) embossed  butterflies on Melon Mambo paper, I then cut the squares to 1 1/2" X 1 1/2"  I took a strip of silver foil paper measuring 2" X 5 1/2" and used black StazOn ink to stamp more butterflies.  I took a piece of Basic Black cardstock measuring 3 X 5 1/2" and used my Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402 on both side.  The Melon Mambo butterflies are popped up on dimensionals to give them some more interest.
Another note about the foil sheets is they are embossable (is that a word?) both with your embossing folders and heat embossing.  So give that a try too!

Christmas Single Stamps

Last night at one of our monthly Team Meetings I had the pleasure of using the a few of the new Single Stamps Stampin' Up just released.  These are two of them, the one on the top is called "Prince of Peace" #134811 and the bottom one is "Wonderful Blessing" #134779.
Both of these stamps are absolutely beautiful in person!

Both the Christmas tree and wording inside the card are from the stamp set Special Season, also from the new Holiday Catalog. (CM#131769, WM#131766)
